Arrival:
We
suggest you arrive at the Cime Aventure Base the evening prior to departure;
there are camping facilities or teepees to lodge in, just inquire! The
base is located 9 kilometers North of Bonaventure.
How
to Get to the Base:
You
can drive to Bonaventure in your own car where you can park safely during
the length of your stay or you may choose to arrive by bus, by train or
by air; all arrival facilities are nearby. You need only advise us and
we will be happy to pick you up.
Meals:
We
offer fresh foods, well-balanced meals designed with your varied activities
in mind; all are prepared on wood fires.
Guides:
A
team of 2 professional guides accompany your group (7-10 people) during
your journey; they oversee safety and security aspects, prepare meals
and generally liven things up with all sorts of cultural, historical and
ecological information.
Accomodations:
During
your stay at the base, you will lodge in confortably furnished teepees.
As for you nights out on the river, you will sleep in solid watertight
tents.
Transportation:
All transportation used for your planned activities is inclued
and provided for in the shape of safe and confortable minibusses...
Equipment:
In
order to provide the material needed for your outings, Cime Aventure will
have on hand the following equipment:
Crafts,
oars, paddles, P.F.D’s (“personal floting device” is the legal name for
a life jacket) and neoprene overalls...
Safety equipment
for the group...
Kitchen
equipment for all; rainshelter...
Watertight
tents; thermarest ground mattresses...
Watertight
kegs, casks or bags for your personal effects.
