The Bonaventure River by canoe, 126 kilometres of discoveries and thrills!
DAY 1 Wake up, have breakfast and meet the group at 8 am. Presentation of the program for the activity. Check and pack equipment. Load vehicles and head off for Bonaventure Lake in Parc de la Gaspésie. Lunch, unload vehicles, launch canoes and learn basic manoeuvres. Set up bivouac for supper and the first night.
Have breakfast and prepare the canoes to begin the expedition. Under the supervision of experienced guides, you gradually descend one of the most beautiful rivers in Québec, if not in all of Canada! Learn to handle your canoe safely, and discover the pleasures of wilderness camping. Savour the delicious meals prepared over the campfire out in the open! And of course, relax and watch the salmon in the incredibly clear waters of the river! DAY 6 On the sixth day, in the late afternoon, Cime Aventure welcomes you on your return to its exceptional base camp where a shower and sauna will do wonders for you! A goodbye supper with a menu typical of the Gaspé is next, followed by a review of the trip. You will spend the night in a comfortable tepee as Natives did in the past, or in an eco-lodge perched on wooden pilings.
Other dates are available for group of 6 people and more.
Take note that on Saturday evenings, the agenda calls for shows and music and the curfew is extended to 1 am. Cime Aventure invites you all to come and join us.
