5 days Sea kayak adventure


Forillon - Percé

By sea kayak, come and discover the most beautiful marine scenery that the Gaspe peninsula has to offer.

 

The first two days will consist mainly of training on the proper handling of a sea kayak, taking place in some of nature's most splendid natural environment by the cliffs of Forillon National 'Park.

Knowledge of equipment, basic techniques, confidence with waves, wind and marine environment will be the topics during your first days with us.

 

Basic training, tips and tricks of the trade.


It is now time for our departure from Forillon for three (3) days of excursion paddling along these remarquable natural landmarks:

  • Gaspe Bay; south side.
  • Pointe St-Pierre.
  • Percé's cliffs, rock faces and world famous monolith.
  • Bonaventure island.

The month of june is the ideal time for observing marine birds, seals and whales that are feeding close to the seashore at this time of year.

Your professional guide, Nicolas Mercier, certified for fifteen (15) years has been involved in sea kayak excursions with Cime Aventure for the last three years in Forillon, where he resides. He has also been involved in related work in Alaska, Baja California, Mediterranean and other parts of the world. This passion filled, enthusiastic person and other guides will share their knowledge with you.

These guides are all multi-qualified and genuine lovers of the great north.

We suggest an all inclusive activity package:
  • Related equipment.
  • Transportation to Forillon.
  • Food.
  • Lodging in a youth hostel the first two nights.
  • Tenting for the rest of the duration of the trip.
  • Insurance is also included.

This package price is $995 per person with a minimum of seven (7) and a maximum of ten (10) participants.

P. S. Your personnal gear should include:

  • Two (2) polars.
  • Lifa or polypropylene t-shirt.
  • Rain gear or windbreaker.
  • Sleeping bag.
  • Camera (optional).
