Cime Aventure : 3 days package

Du plaisir nature... You will be enchanted with your trip away from it all. Three marvellous days in the wilds of the Gaspé Peninsula, carried along by the current on one of Québec’s most beautiful rivers!

During your 65-kilometre trip downstream, you will be accompanied by an experienced guide who will teach you some canoeing techniques, show you how to run a few rapids, and reveal some of the river’s enchanting spots. Along the way, you will also be able to swim in exceptionally clear waters and observe the fauna and flora of the Gaspé.

The package includes: transportation to the staging site on the river, the equipment and material needed, the services of a guide and all meals. For two of the three nights, you will camp on the riverbank, and for the third night, you will stay in a comfortable Native-inspired tepee or an eco-lodge perched on wooden pilings.

DAY 1

At 8:00 am, the group meets at Cime Aventure. Presentation of the activity, the equipment is checked and the material, loaded. Shuttle departure to the staging point upstream in the morning. Arrival at the Big Ouest: technical training is provided and the watercraft, launched. Lunch is served on the riverbank at noon and then… OFF TO ADVENTURE! In the late afternoon, supper is prepared over a campfire, and then, you spend the first night in a tent.

DAYS 2 AND 3

During this excursion, you will travel some 20 kilometres per day, rocked by the rhythms of this marvellous stream that provides a setting for a host of activities: learn to shoot the rapids, picnic, swim and hike to a falls – all are part of your adventure. In the late afternoon of the third day, you arrive at Cime Aventure, where showers and a sauna await just so you can clean up and relax. Then, take a well-earned break to savour a good supper and share your memories of the trip on the terrace. Let the crackling campfire soothe your spirits before spending the final night in a comfortable tepee.
