we do. Just contact us and let us know at which date you would like to
use the service, the number of children and their respective age, and
we will take care of the rest!
Do
we need to bring our sleeping bags for the tipis?
Yes,
because the fee for tipis does not include bedding. On the other hand,
we offer a bedding rental service: 10$ per bed (tax included).
Do
you have a convenience store?
No,
we are at 7 kilometers from the nearest grocery and convenience stores.
Do
you have a restaurant?
Yes,
we have a cozy little restaurant along the river shore where healthy meals
are served.
Do
you have a laundry mat?
Yes,
we have a coin washer and dryer.
Do
you have a playground?
Yes,
we have basketball, volleyball and soccer fields.
What
are the activities in Bonaventure?
Canoeing,
kayaking, hiking, speleology (cave exploration), mountain biking, horseback
riding, the Bioparc, the Acadian Museum, the beach, and we
have extra services.
Do
you have a waste disposal service on premises?
No.
Do
you have family rates?
No,
but we do have chidren rates: from 0 to 5 years: free, from 6 to 11 years:
50% and from 12 to 14 years: minus 25%.

Do
you have group rates?
For
groups of 12 people and more, we offer a discount of 15% on our products.
What
payment modalities do you accept?
We
accept Visa card, MasterCard, American Express, ATM, and cash. Cheques
are also accepted for deposits.
How
early do we need to make reservations?
It
depends what you are reserving. If we are talking lodging, a month is
required. For the months of july and august, reservations during the winter
months are not uncommon. A week in advanced is enough for the one day
activities. You might even get lucky by calling the day before...
Concerning long-term packages, the reservations can be taken two weeks prior to departure, but the ideal time for these reservations is march, april and may.
As far as
the campground goes, it is full 7 days a week, but a 3 day reservation
is usually sufficient. Although you have the right to play it safe!
Do
you have swimming accessibility?
Yes,
from the tipi area, you can access the river and enjoy sunbathing. A large
flat rock starts on the shore and gradually sinks into the water. It is
not very deep, therefore it would be quite secure near the shore. This
area can satisfy even the more experimented swimmers.
Do
you have a lifeguard on shore?
No,
although during our guided activities, we have accredited guides looking
out for the entire group.
What
are your refund policies?
At
the time of reservation, we ask a deposit of 30% of the total cost. 45
days before the activity, the balance is required. A cancellation insurance
is available at the cost of 10% of the total amount of you bill. If a
cancellation occurs, the only amount kept by Cime Aventure will be the
10%.
Acceptable cancellation delays are as follow:
| Activities for a period of 24 hours and less: | We will refund any activity that is canceled prior to 6pm the day before the departure. |
| Activities for periods over 24 hours: | We will refund any activity canceled at least 5 days prior to the departure. |
| Lodging: | We will refund any lodging providing it's canceled before 1pm on the day which the reservation begins. |
Are
you opened year round?
We
are presently developing winter packages for snowshoeing and cross country
skiing. These should be available by winter of 2003. We will then be open
only on reservations and for long term packages as well as for specifically
designed group packages.
Is
there a cab service in Bonaventure?
Yes
!
Are
you near the airport? Train station? Bus depot?
We
are at 3 kilometers from the Bonaventure airport and 8 kilometers from
the train and bus stations.
For our long term packages (2 days and more), we offer a free transportation service to our premises from the aiport, the train and bus stations.
Do
you sell open air equipment on premises?
Yes,
but our inventory is limited. A specialized store in the area carries
the articles that we do not have.
Do
you sell canoes? kayaks? New? Used?
Yes,
please contact us for more details or if you wish to make an appointment.
Do
you have a reception area or large tipi for banquets?
Yes,
we have a large tipi, called Odyssée, which is able to receive
up to 50 persons for meals, around 75 to 100 on the dance floor, and over
20 overnight guests.
Do
you offer a health food menu at the restaurant? In the packages?
We
are very conscientious about the quality of our products. For that reason,
we offer a health food menu at our restaurant. We are also renowned for
the unbeatable quality of our foods. Herein is an example of an expedition
menu (if requested, we will also prepare vegetarian dishes without dairy
products etc,)
